I thought I'd seen every lame thing the RFID industry could dish up to
support microchip implants, but this is over the top.

An upcoming "Chip-a-thon"(!?!) in Northern Pennsylvania will be
injecting pets with microchips -- to raise money for the American Cancer
Society!

These are the same microchips that cause cancer in 1% to 10% of
laboratory animals that receive them. Peer-reviewed journal articles
have shown to be related to cancerous tumors in at least two dogs.

a chip implant, chip migration, chip failure, MRI incompatibility,
function creep, societal downsides, industry deception, religious
opposition -- nothing.

Contimplating often on how to be prepared when I amoften soooo tired these days.

Yeah, he's younger than me, too! I trust him - he comes across as genuine and he's surrounded himself with some of the best advisors. I sure don't want the job, but there is no maximum age limit!
Still, it's sobering to realize that we're approaching the half century mark. And- "The median age in America reached its highest point ever at 35.3 years, up from 32.9 years in 1990, according to recently released data from Census 2000." That means we're older than half the population, but, heck, don't we look marvelous!

We all have a certain degree of cynicism but the more we accept that "it is what is is", and know God's got it all under control, the better off we'll all be. We have to keep the faith and not allow those negative influences mar our perspectives. His judgement comes to all. It is individual acts that define us, and we can really only control ourselves. I was speaking with a Man who had Just finshed writing a book on spiritual warfare and he gave me some examples.
issues such as anger,bitterness,controlling people,unforgiveness.depression are just a few types of spirtual warfare.

I am touched by the Ohio school shootings...the media guarantees that we're all aware when such terrible events take place.
The one message that really came through to me was families who had lost loved ones wished they had one more chance to say "I love you".
Let's don't forget how important for those we hold dear know that they are cherished while they are with us - no regrets!

I empathize with Carol - Family health and associated financial matters are taking up much of my time and thoughts. I pray a lot in order to keep the fears at bay. "He (Jesus) has this quirky way of coming in different forms" ... You reminded me of a short lived television program, Joan of Arcadia. God would appear to Joan, a highschool girl, in different personas. It was one of many influences that made me aware of how important it is to connect with people.

Could you take some time to explore your thoughts on the Law of Attraction and how it relates to faith and the power of positive thinking? I have a relative who has always floundered in fear and negativity, and it seems to me that some of these principles can be directly applied as thy are found in the bible. How can I persuade him to acknowledge the blessings that have been given to him and open his eyes to God's gifts that he is failing to embrace?

I was looking more for your thoughts on faith and the power of positive thinking. I did some research and came up with this angle (all quoted from websites/links), not so much that Happiness is not the most important thing in life, but rather, recognizing that we do have blessings, and how do we learn to see them?

To add to your most recent blog I say a billboard recently @ geographically near Geddes Street Hd motorcylce shop.
I do not remember the prduct it billboard was trying to sell,BUT the message said this exactly RED MEANS GO.How appropiate to place this add right across the street fron the gathering spot of quite agressive bikers personalities,spirit.
Rather than slapping a bumper sticker on ONE'S CAR stating watch for MOTORCYCLES.Pehaps someone should make a sticker that says watch out for others best interests/safety!!!!

I agree with you on #1 and #3.There is one thing I would like to add that I personally hate.That being the pace of this life.We live in a culture of cramming,and accoreding to the author Stephen R. Covey is not very effective.
It saddens me that many of us do not have a vision or direction.
Mr.Covey in one of his books asked people at one of his seminars to point in the direction that thought true north is?
How can we truly know or judge which direction true north is.Pretty dep stuff do you agree?

I have had your CD for several years now and recently decided to give it another listen.
I love the song wisdom is where it where it's at.Specifically the part where you sing about lines appearing and your steps have slowed but you have learned what the wise men know

I would like to thank c/ra/hfor the entry on the VT horrific happing ( s) as well as Carol's insightful,truthfulness that we rarely get from heartless media.
I thank both of you ever so much.I fear our culture has become more desensitized than traumatized,caring,compasionate toward the families who lost loved ones at the cost of really,really disturbed and tormented individual.Shame in abc for airing this man's wishes ontop of the spiriually wounded family members whose scars will likey take a long,long time to heal if at all.
This was a clasic case of the boy who cried wolf and and not one person believed or listened to him.Now all the kings horses and all the kings men cannot put these families back together again.
This boils down to our sin nature that we are marked with since the Garden.Perhaps we need to heed the bumper sticker most of us have seen that says kill your TV set,or perhaps if you do not like what you are viewing keep in mind each of us has the power to either change the channel or simply turn it off.
My heart goes out to all those who lost someone who was near and dear to them,end of story.

the bible says that "hope deferred makes the heart sick." When we hope for something that doesn't come, we get disheartened. Sometimes it helps to talk things through with someone else, outside of the situation(s), perhaps even a counselor. If you can pinpoint the real issues of your distance from God, things usually resolve from there...I will pray for you!

You have a harder road than most. I have found that reading writings from the mouths and hearts of others who have fought similar battles helps. Also, don't give up "having it out" with God.
He knows when we are angry and does not disdain us...in fact, He wants us to tell it to Him. My husband and I believe suffering can be a calling. Maybe we're warped, but it seems to ring true. I will pray for your journey.

in 05 at age 58 I got the bad news......cancer. Base of tounge, treatment included surgery, chemo, and radiation. I was in deep trouble because the cancer was in stage 4 (5 is dead). Anyway, needles to say I viewed myself as a dead man walking. Hugged my wife, said my goodbyes and then wondered about weither or not there is a God. The jury is still out on that. I truly want to beleive but somehow just can't. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure of the color names...they were part of the design. Sherwin williams has a color called "paradise" that is close to the darker green, and they have a color called "gleeful" which is very close to the background color. Also, the color for the page buttons is close to their "lime rickey." I picked these colors because I love the color green, and a lot of different shades of it...

thank you from stupid separated,person.distant from other people,and Him trying to find His forgiveness,healing,however full of fear and what if emotions.
Feeling the tension of this crazy place and wonder why I am here.
In the beginning og the movie it was said that in any normal city people brush into each other,not in LA no touches each other.It was put this way they crash into each other just so they can feel something due to the fact they hide behind metal and glass and are so lonely that is the the only way of connecting.

Hello Carol,
I have just stmbled upon your site found it to be very,very uplifting.I to have been searching and trying to build a personal realatinship with Christ.However cannot seem to find the connection with him in the way I really need to have in my life.
i have found that the church and satan has ways of promoting obstales in our life to keep us from drawing near to him.
Where or how can I begin to find Him in my life by pressing into his word.I have such a hard time knowing where to begin reading as well knowing how to pray and sense what he wants me draw from my reading of His word.
Can you you help by giving me some direction.You definately have a direct connection with the lord I can sense it though your writing.
